8. Peyto Lake – Canada

Set high in the Canadian Rockies, Peyto Lake dazzles visitors with its striking turquoise color. The hue comes from glacial rock flour suspended in the water, creating a surreal effect. Viewpoints from Bow Summit provide panoramic vistas that look almost too vibrant to be real. Although it can get chilly, especially outside summer months, the breathtaking scenery more than compensates. Peyto Lake proves that you don’t need tropical heat to find awe-inspiring waters.
